I've been so busy with lots of weddings and professional shoots for magazines I thought it might be fun to share the top wedding hair and makeup trends of 2024 so far in one place - for every bride no matter the length, texture or density of your hair. So here goes - if you like any of these bridal looks or want me to create something completely bespoke for you please get in touch - sooner rather than later as I am already taking bookings well into 2024 and 2025.
I've said it many times in previous blogs - your wedding hair and makeup style should compliment you - your personality, your wedding dress and the overall theme of your wedding. If you've picked a dress with a detailed or open back - then you will want to show that off not have it covered so you might consider wearing your hair up. Perhaps you've chosen a vintage or classic wedding dress which would suit a sleek bridal updo. Going more boho? Try something down and loose. The most successful bridal makeup looks in my opinion are those that give you an inner glow and boost - so that you still look like you just on you best day ever.
As you can see there is a real mixture of different hair styles for brides - from loose waves, low buns, high swept up curls, plaits and twists. And the makeup looks are chosen to compliment each bride. They are all so different and I think they all look beautiful.
